Official Raffle Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility

This raffle is open only to individuals who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, contractors, and affiliates of Salty Coffee Sailing Expeditions, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate. Entrants must provide a valid email address. Void where prohibited by law.

2. How to Enter

No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Eligible participants may enter by submitting their email address via the official raffle entry form at www.saltycoffeesailing.com/enter-to-win or as otherwise directed in promotional materials. Limit one (1) entry per person. Multiple entries by the same individual will result in disqualification.

3. Prize

One (1) winner will receive a berth on an offshore sailing passage aboard the vessel ARBELLA. The specific passage is subject to availability and determined at the sole discretion of Salty Coffee Sailing Expeditions. The prize includes onboard accommodations during the voyage only. All transportation to and from the vessel, travel documentation (including passport and visas, if required), travel insurance, meals ashore, and all other personal expenses are the sole responsibility of the winner. The approximate retail value of the prize is $4,000. The prize is non-transferable and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash.

4. Winner Selection and Notification

The winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received by the closing date of September 14, 2025. The drawing will be conducted on or about September 25, 2025. The winner will be notified by email within seven (7) days following the drawing. If the winner does not respond within seven (7) days of notification, or if the winner is found ineligible, another winner will be selected at random.

5. Conditions of Participation

Participation in an offshore sailing passage requires physical capability and a willingness to assume the inherent risks of offshore sailing. The winner will be required to apply for the passage, meet with the captain and mate, sign a liability waiver and release prior to embarking on the passage. Failure to meet with the captain and/or mate and sign required documents will result in forfeiture of the prize.

6. Publicity

By entering this raffle, participants grant Salty Coffee Sailing Expeditions the right to use their name, likeness, and any statements made in connection with the raffle for advertising, publicity, and promotional purposes in any media worldwide without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

7. Privacy

Email addresses collected in connection with this raffle will be used solely for the purpose of administering the raffle and for subscribing entrants to Salty Coffee Sailing Expedition’s email newsletter. Entrants may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. Personal information will not be sold or shared with third parties.

8. Limitation of Liability

By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Salty Coffee Sailing Expeditions, its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all liability for injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with participation in this raffle or acceptance and use of the prize.

9. Governing Law

This raffle and these Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maine and the United States of America, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
